Where do the jobs come from?+
From councils' public planning registers. Anyone applying for planning permission has their application published, and we gather the new ones from the councils we cover each day.
Why letters, not phone calls?+
Planning applications include the address of the work, not a phone number. A well-written letter that lands while the owner is still deciding is polite and gets read.
How do homeowners get back to me?+
Your phone number and email are at the top of every letter, and each letter has a QR code that opens a quote request page with your name on it. Requests show up in your dashboard straight away.
Do I need to be good with computers?+
No. If you can use a phone, you can use Tellux. Save a job, press Write letter, press Print. That's it.
What does it cost?+
Nothing during the beta. After that there are three plans, depending on how many councils you work in, and you can cancel any time.
